LA Times Endorses Jonathan Levey
The LA Times endorsed Jonathan Levey on Tuesday saying, "Jonathan Levey is the best candidate to succeed termed-out Fran Pavley in this coastal district, which stretches from Santa Monica to Oxnard."
The paper compliments Jonathan's ideas, many of which are detailed in his book, Ideas in Action.
"The most compelling ideas in the campaign...have come from Levey. His plans for improving schools, reducing pollution and improving transportation are pragmatic enough to seem achievable, even with the partisan rancor in the state Capitol." (click here)

The LA Weekly announced its endorsement of Jonathan Levey on Wednesday. The paper praises Jonathan's ability to speak, "with specificity on complex topics, and with candor on the challenges facing the Democratic Party agenda." (click here)

Encino, CA - Like thousands of Los Angeles area residents, Jonathan Levey has experienced a daily commute for over 10 years, he has been stuck in gridlock more times than he can count.
Jonathan wanted to know the quickest way to commute along the 101 corridor during morning rush hour, so he unscientifically tested five ways to make the 16 mile commute from Agoura Hills to Encino including the bus, various routes in single passenger vehicles and even had a former Olympic cyclist measure his time. Young Democrats Endorse Jonathan
Jonathan recently received the endorsement of the San Fernando Valley Young Democrats! Damian Carroll, President of the group called its endorsed candidates, "the best the Valley has to offer." The campaign looks forward to precinct walks, phone banks and fun with the group.

Jonathan Levey Out Raises Opponents
Jonathan Levey continues to turn heads as the year-end financial reports are filed. The attorney, former business executive, and current teacher at Cal State Channel Islands out raised all of his opponents by over $120,000 in 2005.
In Thursday's Morning Report, the Groveman camp reported being "substantially ahead of all other candidates." Though Groveman has more cash on hand, it is due to the $150,000 that Groveman loaned to himself.
